A Day in Spain - Chollo Games - Game Hunting Goodness
My girlfriend and me were on vacation this month for about two weeks and Spain was one of our destinations on our travels. I always as a business owner look to connect with other business/game shop owners, do some game hunting, and potentially find new inventory for my own store. So upon our arrival from Lisbon, Portugal we arrived in Madrid, Spain to continue enjoying the art, food, history, churches, architecture, and the charms of Europe.
We had an amazing time and the store Chollo Games was the highlight for me in Madrid. This was a total hidden gem in a little shopping mall and I was immediately having sensory overload with the quality and quantity of the shop. It was about a five minute walk from our hotel and man I couldn't be more surprised. I visited three other stores while in Europe and this store was the best. The first thing I will point out is the store owner is super nice, knowledgeable, and was very patient as I raided his game store jokes aside. I loved talking games with him be it retro or modern. I could have talked to him for hours about the industry and all things gaming. I highly recommend his store to all gamers, collectors, and travelers to Spain. He has it all retro going from Atari to Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Super Nintendo/Super Famicom all European variants and PAL games for the region for PS2, PS1 and much more. There is also plenty of modern with Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X, DS/3DS, Wii, and much more so there is something for everyone regardless of what systems/consoles you own or what you love to play on for your gaming goodness!

I thought this showed an amazing level of customer service and showed me why he has been in business for 30+ years. He truly cares about his customer, knows how to stay competitive, and honest about prices and quality of the games he is selling to his customers both locally and abroad.
