  • Happy Thanksgiving and Game Hunting Feast in Dallas

    Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless my fellow readers, listeners, followers, and subscribers. I hope you and your families are safe and well! I am sure you all enjoyed good time together and great food over the holiday break. 

    It was a different Thanksgiving for me first of all I wasn’t in the process of moving with my partner. This was a nice change of pace enjoying time with my goddaughter in Dallas and enjoying an amazing steak dinner instead of being on the road during the holiday and moving from CA to TX.

    So without further ado, let’s get into the games. After, me and my partner enjoy the area and food I went to do some game hunting. I went to three game stores and trust me I barely scratched the surface and I plan to come back again.

  • Some Bonus Levels!! More Game Stores in Spain and Europe

    During my journey through Spain in Madrid and Barcelona I also came across a couple more stores I wanted to review and highlight. The first is GAME which was the last store I visited in Barcelona before heading back to the United States. It was basically Europe's version of GameStop. The layout, display of games, toys, and even pre-orders from employees lol was encouraged.. It was a solid layout but overall if you have a GameStop in your area then you aren't missing much. They have a great variety of modern games on PS5/Xbox Series X and what you would expect. As for retro and old school the only games I saw of noteworthy would be the PS3 and I believe some Wii games. The employees were nice but definitely felt more corporate like shopping in a GameStop not a terrible thing but nothing glowing and radiant to say.

  • A Day in Spain - Chollo Games - Game Hunting Goodness

    My girlfriend and me were on vacation this month for about two weeks and Spain was one of our destinations on our travels. I always as a business owner look to connect with other business/game shop owners, do some game hunting, and potentially find new inventory for my own store. So upon our arrival from Lisbon, Portugal we arrived in Madrid, Spain to continue enjoying the art, food, history, churches, architecture, and the charms of Europe.
